Things Hidden #12 - Peter Thiel... Antichrist or Katechon? (Part 2)

Greetings from Austin! I welcome the opportunity to bring to you the twelfth post of Things Hidden! Episode #12 of the Things Hidden podcast is out now!

Episode #12 is part 2 of an in-depth review and discussion of a Wired article that came out in late September. The Wired article is titled “The Real Stakes, and Real Story, of Peter Thiel’s Antichrist Obsession”.

If you haven’t watched Episode #11, you should watch that first before watching this one.

I was fascinated by the Wired article for a bunch of reasons. The article strongly dovetails into many of the topics we have discussed at length in prior episodes of Things Hidden. The article has a heavy dose of mimetic theory, a heavy dose of technological innovation and a heavy dose of Biblical scriptural interpretation. All that fit so well into Things Hidden that I felt like we had to stop and take the time to discuss it at length. And there was so much to talk about, it ended up as a two-parter.

There was no script for this episode, so I don’t have anything to include here in the blog post, other than a link to the YouTube video. At some point I will start writing blogs that are separate and standalone from the podcasts, but for now I have a pretty full plate. So I’ll just invite you to watch the YouTube (or Spotify or Apple).
